Avicado Baby started on our son’s third Halloween, when he didn’t want to be a superhero - he wanted to be a sanitation worker. So we made him a trash can. Real wheels, wooden handle, city seal. A replica of the one outside our home.

It quickly became more than a costume. It gave him a role, something he could take seriously.
